International Travel

I crossed my first border just as the close of my very first summer approached. We visited my dad’s parents in Toronto, Canada for a week.

It was my very first chance to meet my cousin, Rayden. He’s somewhat older than I am, but that smile is a heavy hitter!

The Canadian National Exhibition (C.N.E.) was quite a treat! Though I slept through most of it, I woke up to the smell of Tim Horton’s coffee.

Leave it to mom to insist on awkward family photos in the plastic swan. That thing does a really good job of giving me the creepers.

One of my favourite moments included finally meeting my great-grandmother! She’s 81 years old, and boy am I glad I had the opportunity to meet her! She’s a real sweetheart, and I think I’m pretty lucky to have seen her in the flesh.

The return flight home was tough on me, though. I just couldn’t get comfortable! Once I did though, I settled in and slept through most of the flight. I’m certainly happy to be back in my old crib!
